- Fang Hunters was shot entirely at one location, in HD, on the Sony PMW-EX3.
- Pre-production took two and half months, post four weeks, principal photography two days.

- The director's Honda Civic doubled as the Ford Mustang for the interior car scenes.
- On one of the shots, a fang from Chi Lam's mouth fell out and got lost in the dirt. Production halted for 15 minutes while cast and crew searched fruitlessly for it. Chi continued the rest of the shots with just one fang. Till this day, the director believes Chi swallowed the fang by accident.
- On the shot where Santo gets blood all over his face, the director tried to squeeze stage blood out of a balloon but after 10 tries, failed to get the desired effect. On one try, to the amusement of cast and crew, he got stage blood all over his own face. He then tried using a water bottle with a hole puncture on the cap. It was a one take wonder.
- Director has worked with Santo Lombardo on one previous project, and Chi Lam and two previous ones. He's known them both over 10 years.
- Director almost scrapped the project because he couldn't find the right actor to play Bruce.. until Santo Lombardo introduced him to Michael Antonakos.
